Garnet: private AI that stays in your building, end to end
See it · Same question, two answers
Proof rather than a policy page.
Ask a Garnet and a cloud AI the same question. One keeps every word on your machine. The other sends it to someone else’s.
Private AI in your building
Garnet builds your organisation a private AI, end to end. It runs on a machine in your building and works on your own documents, which never leave it. Unplug the network and it keeps answering. We build for people who handle confidential work: family offices, law firms, research labs, and creative and finance teams. Your data and every conversation are yours. Family-office and private builds are scoped individually; for enterprise, contact us.
What you are actually buying
A commissioned machine, installed in your building.
A Garnet is a machine, not a subscription: the hardware, the AI that runs on it, the work of fitting it to your material, and someone to call afterwards. It arrives working.
Every build starts with an assessment. It is then scoped and priced to your firm.
What it is good at
The work that has to stay in the room.
It is strong at everyday writing, at thinking a problem through with you, and at reading confidential material: contracts, case files, patient records, board papers. You can give it the real document, not a redacted one, because it never leaves.
It is private because of where it runs, not because of a policy: every request stays on the machine in your building.
After it is installed
Four lanes, or an engineer by the hour.
Alongside a build there are four optional monthly services: being found in AI search, ongoing checks on the system, running the AI for you, and day-to-day support. Each can be cancelled.
For work that falls outside a retainer there is ad-hoc engineering at $600 per hour, billed by the minute, mobilised the same working day. Available on its own, by the hour. The full shape of every lane, with prices, is on the production lanes page, and the whole catalogue is on engagements.
Whether it is for you
It suits people whose work has to stay put.
Garnet is built for organisations whose most valuable material is also their most confidential: family offices, law and medicine, institutions under a regulator, and anyone whose work would be a story if it leaked. If your material is ordinary and a cloud subscription already serves you well, a Garnet is probably more machine than you need, and we will tell you so.
The next step is a conversation about what you actually need rather than a sales call. If you would rather see the comparison first, Garnet against rolling your own sets out the engineering time, the security gaps and the hardware calls side by side.
